Ernie Fletcher, blech

Last week, the University of Cumberlands asked a gay student to leave, in effect expelling him from their Baptist institution. This school is set to receive $11 Million in state funds and rights groups want Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher to veto the spending bill that would allocate them the funds.

Why would good ol’ Ernie do this? This is the same governor who just this week re-wrote the anti-discrimination guidelines to strip out protections for the state’s LGBT workers. I’d be surprised if he didn’t send the bigot-school an extra 11 mil just for kicking out the gay boy.
